Blog 5 - Changes to my Study Programme
Hi, teacher, classmates, today I would like to talk about the program class of my career, in specific, what changes I would like to do it.
I could read the teacher’s blog, and I think that we are all agree that in our careers maybe we have some subjects that its seems irrelevant, because they’re repetitive or, in my case, they are not updated at the times that we are living, is the same theory that years ago in those contexts.
I study Sound ingineering in the University of Chile and I think that in my career we are not in a bad situation, but I think that for the prices that we have to pay, it is sad that think what happens with all that money.
There are necessary some updates inside the faculty in the building and inside the career in the structure of it, I think.
For example we have like three courses about harmony, or musical reading in the general malla, but I think that it would be better if we have the choice to choose how deep we want to learn about something.
Also, I think that the workload is a little bit heavy, because just in the first semester we have to take like 8 subjects, and we had to take this workload during the pandemic, so, this was a little bit much I think.
Im just saying things that I don’t like, but there are also some teachers and activities that I like to do and algo that im so grateful because it shows me a new way to think and new places or spaces to explore my art and my creativity.
I agree with you, in my career we also had to take about 7 subjects, and it was only the first year, also, in the pandemic, everything was made heavier by a very stressful situation.
